Cedar Rustic Log Bench
Our handrcrafted Rustic Log Glider is made using traditional mortise and tenon joinery. The only metal used is the Glider hardware, we do not use any metal fastners. The redness of this chair is from the use of Aromatic Red Cedar, harvested here in Texas. We use White Oak as part of our floating tenons to give the chair its stability. Lastly, we seal the chair with a finish that brings out the natural luster of the wood and protects it against UV rays, mold, mildew, and moisture.
Rustic Log Chairs
Our Rustic Log chairs are made of Cedar, White Oak, Red Oak and other special woods. These woods are strong, don't strip easily, and are resistant to rot, rust, decay, insect damage, and other unwanted elements.
Care and Maintenance
A mild soap and water bath once every couple of weeks is a good, inexpensive way to start your wooden Rustic Log chairs' care program. Just use a bucket of warm sudsy water and a cloth. Follow up with a bucket of clear water (or hose) and rinse the soap off so that you don't end up with a film on your chairs.
